Wheel of Fortune Answers Hub (wheeloffortuneanswershub.com) is a free, fan-made site. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what happens to it. We collect as little as we can.

The short version

Visiting the site

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any website, its servers see technical details such as your internet (IP) address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time, and keep them in short-lived logs for security and to keep the site running. Our database provider, Supabase, keeps similar short-lived logs when you add an answer or send a message.

The site's fonts come from Google Fonts, so your browser also connects to Google, which sees your IP address and browser details. See Google's privacy policy.

The solver, the answer lists and the search boxes all work inside your browser. Nothing you type there is sent to us or saved.

Adding a missing answer

When you send an answer for review, we save:

Approved answers are published on this site. They aren't linked to you in any way, so please don't put personal information in an answer.

Contacting us

When you use the contact form, we save your name (if you give one), your email address, the topic, your message, the date and time, and the same kind of scrambled code, which limits spam and is deleted after 7 days. We use these only to read your message and reply. We delete messages within 12 months, or sooner if you ask.

If you email us at wheelanswers@gmail.com, your email is handled by Gmail, which is part of Google.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run the site: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database) and Google (fonts and email). They handle information for us under their own privacy and security terms. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for advertising. We'd only disclose it if the law required us to.

These services may store and process information in the United States and other countries.

Cookies and tracking

The site doesn't set cookies and doesn't use analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, for example if we add advertising, we'll update this page first.

Children

The site is for a general audience and isn't aimed at children under 13. If you're under 13, please don't send us personal information. If you think a child has sent us their details, email us and we'll delete them.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email wheelanswers@gmail.com or use the contact form, and we'll reply within 30 days. Answers aren't linked to names, so we can't trace an answer back to you, but we can find a message by the email address you used.

Depending on where you live, for example the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia or California, you may have extra rights under local privacy laws, including the right to complain to your local privacy regulator.

Keeping it safe

The site only works over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Answers waiting for review and messages can only be read by the site owner, through a protected admin login.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
